Der Scharfe Maxx Extra is similar to Der Sharfe Maxx, but the "extra" version has been aged longer (12 months).

The flavours are a bit different and more pronounced, with notes of sautéed onions, a beefy pungency, and a nutty bite.

Also made exclusively from grass/hay-fed local cows, its extra underground aging gives this version a firm, rich, buttery texture.

Pair with Beaujolais, Bourbon.

If you order several cheeses, we will usually make up for shortcomings on weight, if any, on the other cheeses ordered.
