Tomme de Grosse-Île is a distinguished semi-soft, unpasteurized cow's milk cheese hailing from Québec's Île-aux-Grues. Crafted from the milk of Brown Swiss cows that graze on the island's unique tideland hay, this cheese features a uniform paste speckled with small "eyes." Its woodsy aroma and slightly acidic yet fruity flavour profile offer a delightful experience for the palate. Aged for three months, Tomme de Grosse-Île boasts a rustic character that reflects its artisanal heritage. The label's green hue and Celtic cross pay homage to Grosse Île's rich Irish history, commemorating its role as a significant immigration site in Canada.

If you order several cheeses, we will usually make up for shortcomings on weight, if any, on the other cheeses ordered.
